Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, hair and nails. Biotin also helps maintain skin and hair. The antioxidants vitamin C and zinc help protect cell components from oxidative damage. In addition vitamin C supports the normal formation of collagen, which is a component of the connective tissue and skin. The formula also contains important B vitamins, such as folic acid and vitamin B12, which, together with the mineral zinc, support normal cell division.
